The Milwaukee Bucks dropped to 17-22 in this 2025-26 NBA season following a disappointing 108-104 loss to the severely undermanned Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena on Sunday. The Nuggets were without four starters on the night, but still led by as many as 15 points at one stage, and Giannis Antetokounmpo expressed some of his frustrations postgame.
Tim Hardaway Jr. led the Nuggets with 25 points off the bench. Aaron Gordon contributed 23 points, six rebounds and four assists, often initiating the offense from the high post as Nikola Jokic usually does. Peyton Watson added 19 points, eight boards and six assists.
Fans will be denied seeing the matchup of Giannis vs. Nikola Jokic, but the Milwaukee Bucks have a chance to capture a winning road trip in Denver.
