Brandon Bussi has landed a professional contract with the NHL’s Stanley Cup champions. The former Western Michigan goaltender signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Florida Panthers on Tuesday, landing a deal with the back-to-back Stanley Cup champs.

The former Bruins top prospect has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Florida Panthers that’ll pay him either $775,000 in the NHL or $450,000 in the AHL, according to The Athletic. At training camp in Florida, he’ll reunite with Brad Marchand, who just agreed to a six-year extension to remain with the Panthers.

The defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers needed a goalie today. They signed former Providence Bruins goalie Brandon Bussi. He was signed to a one-year, two-way contract.
