Avelo Airlines is pulling out of Glacier Park International Airport, along with a slew of other airports across the West. Avelo provides seasonal service between the Flathead Valley and two California destinations: Burbank's Hollywood Burbank Airport to the south and Sonoma's Charles M.

Avelo Airlines will only have one aircraft at Hollywood Burbank Airport before eventually closing its Southern California operations in December.

Avelo Airlines announced it will close its base at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) by the end of 2025.The airline plans to reduce its operations to one aircraft on August 12, before fully exiting the base on December 2,

The arrival of Avelo to Salem in October 2023 heralded the return of commercial routes at the airport after a nearly 15-year absence, and remained the only commercial airline serving the Salem-Willamette Valley Airport. It provided flights to Burbank and Las Vegas.
