Art Garfunkel revealed in an interview with The Times that he recently had a tearful reunion with his former music collaborator Paul Simon, 83. "I cried when he told me how much I had hurt him," Garfunkel admitted.

Simon and Garfunkel famously split in 1970, though they have reunited for one-off occasions several times since.

“I cried when he told me how much I had hurt him,” Garfunkel recalled, without specifying which interview Simon was referring to. “Looking back, I guess I wanted to shake up the nice guy image of Simon & Garfunkel. Y’know what? I was a fool!”
