Commanders GM Adam Peters determined to trade twice in 2025 with his former GM John Lynch of the San Francisco 49ers.

The San Francisco 49ers added a proven running back to their injury-depleted group by acquiring Brian Robinson from the Washington Commanders for a 2026 sixth-round draft pick.

“I like it. It’s a real piece of mind for the Niners with their backfield. Now, you have a back you can sub in for 10-15 snaps a game, early in their with Christian McCaffrey,” Barnwell said.
