You can still visit the site and walk around the cenote, but there is no swimming. It is closed. There are hyacinths growing up and it did not open after closing for COVID. The Museum was also closed…Full review by heatherwG5103IK

As of 1-24-2021 It's closed because of covid. Too bad because it was 80+ yesterday and the water looked awesome. It has also flooded last year with the heavy rains but it look ok yesterday.Full review by R P

The Cenote is a reasonable walk from the car park but once you get there there it can be clearly seen without going down to it. There are only a few steps down to it but entry and exit from the water is not easy and it will depend on your personal circumstances as to if this would be advised. Hope this helps Alan
