Found by chance when turning car around. An independant museum by an industrail back-ground, shunned by the aristocrocy of the time. Turned to the arts, and collected for pleasure. An amazing clockwo…Full review by S-Swift5

A really great museum. The building has a striking profile in the middle of Northern England, but is full of interesting items which are well labelled. The oft mentioned Swan is the highlight, and t…Full review by FarAway60942131867
Really sorry but I have no idea. In my head I can see people walking dogs through the gate which would lead me to think that yes you can but I would suggest calling them and asking.
My wife and I would like to visit the museum with our carers. Possibly on 9th or 10th of November. I am contemplating a joint local ticket but am confused with the pricing and what benefits are offered. Would you kindly confirm pricing and whether the price includes future visits in the future. We are both pensioners and are disabled with blue passes. I am 74 and my wife is 75. Some confusion also arises as our carers are my son and our daughter in law. They are not official paid carers and the do an awful lot for us, in fact my son would be providing transport for us. Perhaps you could confirm pricing with any concessions for pensioners? Many thanks in anticipation. Gordon Finch

Hi Gordon. A joint local membership costs £32, and grants you free entry to the Museum for 13 months from the date of purchase (excluding special events e.g. The Winter Market). You can find accessible parking to the rear of the Museum and an accessible entrance to the east side of the building (opposite the bowling green). Accompanying carers visit the Museum for free. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
Bought a family pass for 2 adults and 2 children. My partner often has to work away. Would I be able to,use my family pass if it was just me and the children?

I'm pretty certain you can - you might want to contact the Museum to check it out? 01833 690606 or by email (TripAdvisor won't let me put the email address in here)
