Hi, As far as I remember, the entrance fee was 7 to 10 thousand Lebanese Liras. As for walking from the entrance gate to the cedars area, it is too long. In the summer time, all vehicle were allowed to drive up to the top where you can enter the cedars' forest.

You are not allowed to eat "on site" but there are some restaurants where you can eat in, or buy take out and enjoy it as you walk around town. This is a small town so don’t expect much outside of the site except for plenty of souvenir shops. The area in general is full of hiking trails and historical sites. Check out Shoufcedar website.
