A delightful diversion! Educational, fun and entertaining. Lovely in any season. It abuts a park which is also a nice place for a stroll or a “sit”.Full review by therese m

If you drive east up the road that runs parallel to the water from the zoo, which is driving towards Ocean City… There are two spots where you can catch a lot of fish and a lot of different types. You can park at the duck museum and there are multiple entrances, dirt paths and I believe one is paved.. you can walk down and fish at. I have caught trout, bass, pike and many other types of fish there. Some pretty big. Definitely a great fishing area. I think it’s actually one of the best on the Eastern shore. Seconds place to fish is across the road from the duck museum. You walk down the hill next to the bridge and work your way down to the falls and the fish come down on the water Thruway and that is generally where the trout hang out. you can simply set your line in the water without casting and generally get a bite fairly quickly. Both are great places to take kids, because they will get lots of bites and probably catch quite a few fish. The pike are great fighting fish, meaning it’s fun to reel them in. Just watch out for their teeth(obviously) and make sure your kids know not to put no hands near their mouth. It’s probably one that you might want to take the hook out yourself, as I wouldn’t want your kids getting bit by them. Would definitely take a chunk of flesh out. Hope this helps. Have fun and enjoy!
