Nice small museum, but no public restrooms on premises or in the other museum next door. Parking is $2 per hour on the nearby streets.Full review by SheilaH1910

Nice museum. It was free to enter. My son loved the fossils and gemstones they had displayed. We were able to see them opening a geode for another customer. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.…Full review by jemillat

When you are in doubt, you can always google MINERAL & LAPIDARY MUSEUM to find the hours, special closings, phone numbers, directions, etc. Wednesday-Friday 1 until 5 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day but open on Memorial Day, Labor Day and 4th of July.
