Anthony Township is a township in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 866 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Williamsport, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. Anthony Township was formed from part of Lycoming Township on September 7, 1844, by the Court of Quarter Sessions of the Peace of Lycoming County. It is named in honor of Joseph B. Anthony, who was a judge in Lycoming County at the time.
