What is the best coverage map that has detailed coverage?
WEBJun 14, 2021 · It shows coverage at my camp in Potter County PA (very remote). I've been up there twice since switching to T-Mobile, haven't got a signal yet. No coverage when I had AT&T. So it's not like I'm missing out. Just surprised it shows coverage, when none exists. Only VZW has it there, they were mandated by the state to put up cell towers in the county.

Why does T-Mobile's map have a huge gaping hole in Nebraska?
WEBHaving either T-Mobile or Viaero sucks if you have family in rural Nebraska and you live in Omaha/Lincoln. Coverage between the two is mutually exclusive and having a family plan complicates things as living in a Viaero area for two months will make T-Mobile shut down the line. Just a shame since T-Mobile has the most affordable post-paid plans.

WEBJun 1, 2020 · T-Mobile is doing the same thing they did when they first started their very first lowband rollout with B12; place lowband (previously B12, now B71/n71) on every other tower to give the coverage necessary to say "hey, we covered all of this area, so you should have lowband here" and then come back around later and fill in the holes.

WEBJan 16, 2021 · T-Mobile generally has better speeds in the city. For 5G, T-Mobile is better in the city, AT&T has much more 5G coverage in rural areas. Outside of town off of the highways, AT&T has 5G coverage where T-Mobile will drop to 3G sometimes. I'm sure forcing roaming somehow would be a workaround, but it's besides the point.
