I looked at the website and see that they will upgrade the battery from 11.6 amp-hours to 17.5 amp-hours for $150. I'd highly recommend going with the bigger battery for that little difference -- you're getting 50% more capacity.

There were two items that required substantial modification. The first was battery pack fitment. The battery has a bracket that mounts to the water bottle bosses.

WEBAug 6, 2020 · Noticed that Bikes Direct just added a Bafang M600 to their eBike lineup. I prefer a Bafang for their torque and ability to add a throttle vs Shimano, Bosch, et al. Electrek (Micah Toll) did a review of a M2S M600. As usual (IMO) with BD, good value, but wonder why they have 12-speed Eagle on a bike with that level of power.
Is there another bolt-on (not Bafang) that has pedal...
WEBOct 9, 2019 · The advantage of the Revel style assist system design over the Bafang style is that the motor and controller can be moved where you want by making longer plates and corresponding longer chain. I experimented by cutting the stock Revel side plates and welding in extensions.

Any suggestion for the options given on the Bafang website questionnaire would be greatly appreciated. I'll be spending over $800 for the kit and I don't want to choose a bad set up.
